British Airways has just published its Black Friday offers for 2016 and there look to be some pretty good deals around if you’re prepared to book fast – it’s unlikely that too many of these deals will hang around for too long.

The best offers appear to be for couples traveling in Business Class to either the US or the Middle East with prices starting at £1,008 per person for roundtrip travel (prices for solo travelers are £200-£300 per person higher).

  • Trips need to be booked by midnight (UK time) on 28 November 2016.
  • Travel outbound between 18 December 2016 and 15 June 2017 (there are some exceptions so check the T&Cs carefully)
  • To qualify for the best prices 2 return journeys must be selected

The destinations with the best fares are as follows:

USA

  • Atlanta
  • Baltimore
  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • New York
  • Philadelphia
  • Washington DC

Middle East

  • Abu Dhabi
  • Dubai
  • Muscat

Sadly there doesn’t seem to be much on offer to Asia or Australia.

It should be noted that American Airlines is offering the exact same promotion so AAdvantage Members should be careful here and book with whichever airline offers them the best return:

  • If you’re looking to bank Elite Qualifying Miles in AAdvantage you should book with American – Business Class bookings made through AA will earn 2 EQM per mile flown while the same bookings made through British Airways will earn just 1.5 EQM per mile flown.
  • If you’re looking to maximise the Redeemable Miles you earn then you should book via British Airways – American will award you miles based on the cost of your ticket while bookings through BA that are credited to AAdvantage will earn miles based on the distance flown. The latter is a lot more rewarding.

The British Airways Black Friday sale doesn’t end with Business Class fares to the US and the Middle East. The airline is also offering Economy Class fares to the US from £336 roundtrip….

Economy Class fares to the Middle East from £379….

There are discounts available on vacations too…..

And there are some great looking deals on European vacations too:

I can’t stress enough just how quickly you should be booking anything that catches your eye. BA will not be offering too many seats at these discounted prices and the hotels won’t be offering that many rooms either – these deals will sell out quickly (at least most of them will) so be prepared to miss out if you hesitate too long.
