Unfortunately, following a recent update to the terms and conditions that accompany the American Express® Gold Card, a significant number of American Express customers who do not yet hold this card, will not be eligible for a welcome bonus should they apply for the card in the future.

United Airlines probably has the strongest international route network out of all the US carriers and that network was due to get even stronger with the reinstatement of a transpacific route that fell by the wayside when the Covid pandemic hit and two other transpacific routes that were suspended last year. With the latest schedule changes, however, that all changed.

Recently, I've been checking rates at some of the lower category Hyatt properties within easy reach of Los Angeles and London (I'm contemplating a year-end mattress run) and a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that, rather mysteriously, the Hyatt Place West London Hayes wasn't offering any rates past the end of October.

Last week, American Airlines used various social networks to share a great picture taken by @bee.kreates and originally posted to Instagram.
