Back in August 2016 Delta announced a number of new services out of Boston, in September of the same year it added flights to Dublin, as of 1 April this year the airline will offer Delta One service between Boston and LAX and now Delta has said that it will offer flights to Las Vegas out of Beantown.

Starting 1 October 2018 Delta will fly daily between Boston and Las Vegas on the following schedule:

DL2696 BOS 08:15 – 11:10 LAS
DL2691 LAS 11:15 – 19:20 BOS

Delta will operate its Boeing 737-800 aircraft on this route which offer the following cabin configuration:

  • 16 First Class seats
  • 36 Delta Comfort+ seats
  • 108 Economy Class seats

The Delta 737-800s aren’t exactly the most luxurious of the airline’s aircraft

First Class only offers 38″ of seat pitch (but at least the seats are 21″ wide) and, even though Delta Comfort+ offers a nice 34″ of seat pitch, the Comfort+ seats are no wider than regular Economy Class seats at a miserly 17″.

At least all seats will offer Delta Studio in-flight entertainment and the aircraft will be equipped with Wi-Fi.

Las Vegas is Delta’s 50th non-stop destination out of Logan airport and, as there’s no mention that this is a limited time thing, we’re left to assume that this is a service Delta plans on operating year-round.

Flights are already on sale for the Boston – Las Vegas route with roundtrip fares starting at around $257 for Basic Economy, $287 for regular Economy Class and  $447 for Delta Comfort+
