If you’ve ever wondered what the inside of an Airbus A380 flight deck looked like or what some of the controls do then this could be the video for you. Emirates has released a 360° video of the inside of its 79th A380 aircraft which it took delivery of at the at the Hamburg Air show earlier this year.

The airline’s 80th A380 will be delivered tomorrow (21 June 2016) and Emirates expects to take delivery of a further 21 Airbus A380s this year alone. That’s pretty incredible!

Emirates is putting its ever increasing A380 fleet to good use as it will be launching a daily A380 service between Dubai and Vienna from 1 July and, as I reported on Friday, it already has plans to bring back A380 service to Moscow from 1 December and to increase A380 service between Dubai and Melbourne from 30 October 2016.

The Video

If you’re using Safari as your browser you may be out of luck if you want the full 360° experience from the video as I couldn’t get it to work properly (although this could be me just being tech-illiterate)….but it appears to work fine in Chrome and Firefox.

To look around the flight deck (as the crew are talking) simply click and drag the screen (on a desktop) or just move your mobile device around to get the same effect.

For those on Safari, this is what the flight deck looks like when it’s not warped by a 360° video…..
