I don’t normally post on the weekend but these fares may not be around for long.

I’ve been doing a lot of traveling recently so I’m not sure how long these fares have been around – but they’re fantastic!

United are offering some spectacularly good deals for flights from Los Angeles to Chicago O’Hare in January 2016:

The very best fare of $96 is available for stays of 6 or 7 nights:

But there are some great fares available for nearly every length of stay – including a $105 fare for a same day turn….

…and there’s even a great choice of flight times:

With a trip distance of 3,489 miles….

…that’s a cost of 3.0c/mile….and that’s just about as good as it gets!

If you don’t fancy a same-day turn and if 6-7 nights is too long for you, there are still great fares available to you if you’re selective with your dates – there are trips of 1 and 2 nights priced at just $111.

As always I used the ITA Matrix search to find these fares so, if you’re new to using the ITA Matrix search tool, the introductory articles you’ll find on my “useful info” page may be of help.

For those new to the ITA Matrix search tool, these are the parameters you can use to replicate my results:

There are some good fares on American Airlines and Delta too but they’re not as spectacular as these (they start at  around $156).
