Updated to include details of the new sign-up bonuses
American Express issues four Hilton Honors co-branded credit cards and the sign-up bonuses on all four will be increasing in a few days time. If you’ve been planning to apply for the cards you should hold off for a few days to ensure that you gets the best possible deal.
There will be improved sign-up bonuses on the following four cards from 11 September 2018 and, from what I can see, the bonuses are worth waiting for:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 75,000 Points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months (up from 50,000 points)
- Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card: Earn 125,000 Points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points)
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: Earn 150,000 Points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points)
- Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: Earn 125,000 Points after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points)
One thing to bear in mind that although the sign-up bonus for the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card will be increasing by 25%, the minimum spend required to earn the bonus will be increasing from $3,000 to $5,000 in the first 3 months of card membership.
The spending requirements for the 3 personal cards look to be remaining the same.
