American Express issues four Hilton Honors co-branded credit cards and the welcome bonuses on all four will be increasing in a few days time. If you’ve been planning to apply for the cards you should hold off for a few days to ensure that you gets the best possible deal.
There will be improved welcome bonuses on the following four cards from 11 September 2018 and, from what I can see, the bonuses are worth waiting for:
- Hilton Honors American Express Card: Earn 75,000 Points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months (up from 50,000 points) (OFFER EXPIRED)
- Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card: Earn 125,000 Points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points) (OFFER EXPIRED)
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: Earn 150,000 Points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points) (OFFER EXPIRED)
- Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: Earn 125,000 Points after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months (up from 100,000 points) (OFFER EXPIRED)
One thing to bear in mind that although the welcome bonus for the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card will be increasing by 25%, the minimum spend required to earn the bonus will be increasing from $3,000 to $5,000 in the first 3 months of card membership.
The spending requirements for the 3 personal cards look to be remaining the same.
