I’ve been trying to keep on top of all the routes on which Qatar Airways is offering (or will be offering) its highly lauded Qsuite Business Class cabin but it’s been a surprisingly tricky task.
With Qatar Airways apparently no longer announcing when a route will get a Qsuite equipped aircraft, and with new & refurbished aircraft joining the airline’s fleet every month, more routes that are offering Qsuites are slipping under the radar….and I’ve only just noticed two such routes.
Doha – Bangkok
If ExpertFlyer is to be believed (and it’s rarely wrong) Qatar Airways is already offering its Qsuite Business Class cabin on one of its numerous flights between Doha and Bangkok.
Through 27 October 2018 flights QR830/831 are offering the Qsuite Business Class cabin on the following schedule:
QR830 DOH 20:05 – 07:05+1 day BKK
QR831 BKK 09:05 – 11:50 DOH
27 October represents the end of Qatar Airways’ summer schedule so there’s a possibility that the Qsuite equipped aircraft will remain on this route when the winter schedule is next revised.
Doha – Bangalore
Just as with the Bangkok route ExpertFlyer is showing that the Doha – Bangalore route already offers daily Qsuite Business Class service:
At the time of writing the service is scheduled to end on 27 October 2017 but, until then, this is the schedule:
QR572 DOH 19:30 – 02:20+1 day BLR
QR573 BLR 03:45 – 05:40 DOH
I’m genuinely surprised to see Qatar Airways offering the Qsuite product to Bangalore when a lot of other more “premium heavy” destinations are still waiting for Qsuite service.
At this point I can only assume that the airline can offer Qsuite service to Bangalore by using just one aircraft while other destinations would require at least two and Qatar Airways doesn’t have that many aircraft to spare.
