I have no idea what’s going on over at Delta but there are some ludicrously low Business Class fares available right now for travel between Madrid and New York. Not only are the fares absolutely fantastic but they’re also available through May 2017!

Delta Business Class Fares Madrid – New York (JFK & EWR)

Fare Rules – Highlights

  • Travel between 15 September 2016 and 31 May 2017
  • Must book at least 14 days before departure
  • Minimum stay rules dictate that passengers must stay over a Saturday night
  • Maximum stay is 3 months
  • No stopovers permitted

Note that this isn’t listed as a sale fare so there’s no set end-date – the fare could disappear at any time.

Availability

The fares aren’t the only thing that deserve superlatives – the availability of the fares and the dates that the fares are available are pretty incredible too.

There’s availability during the European school vacations in October….

October – November

There’s an unbelievable amount of availability over Christmas and New Year….

December – January

How about Valentine’s day in New York? Or how about flying to New York during the March and April school vacations?

February – March

The staggeringly good fares end in May but there’s still a lot of availability around.

Example Flights

I wouldn’t blame readers for wondering if the catch to all of this is that the fights are at awkward times or if there are some hideously long layovers to negotiate….but none of that is the case!

With these fares you can try out both Air France and KLM’s Business Class products:

Or try out KLM Business Class and Delta One….

And on some dates you can fly non-stop for not that much more:

If you don’t like flying in and out of JFK then there’s also the Newark option:

Just in case anyone thinks that these may be phantom fares that ITA is throwing up here’s a trip priced up on Delta.com:

In this example the fare is €932.09 which comes to around $1,045 – not bad is it?

Finding These Delta Business Class Fares

Finding these fares couldn’t be simpler.

  • Head over to ITA Matrix
  • Use search criteria that look like this…just make sure you put in your preferred dates (click to enlarge):

  • Find a fare that works for you and head on over to Delta.com to book it.

Making It Even Cheaper

I’ve booked one of these fares already (I’m looking forward to checking out Delta One and Air France Business Class) and, thanks to an Amex offer I discussed in August, I got a further $200 off my fare!

Here’s the offer:American Express Offers USA

And here’s the Amex confirmation that my rebate has tracked:

My Business Class fare cost me $860 🙂

Bottom Line

I have no idea how long these fares will be available for (I doubt it will be very long) so if you see something that works for you I’d book it sooner rather than later.

Make sure you check all of your American Express cards to see if you have the Delta offer available to you as that will take the price into territory that most of us only dream about when it comes to Business Class flying.

Good luck finding the fares that work best for you and let me know in the comments if you book anything you’re particularly happy with.
