In its latest schedule update United Airlines has added its 777-300ER aircraft to three new routes and, while ordinarily that may not be all that interesting, the fact that the 777-300ERs come fitted with the airline’s new Polaris Business Class cabin makes this newsworthy.

Three Routes Get Polaris Business Class

San Francisco – Beijing

From 6 September United will replace the 747 that currently operates on this route with a 777-300ER aircraft. The schedule is as follows:

UA888 SFO 11:00 – 14:20+ 1 day PEK (Daily)
UA889 PEK 12:00 – 09:00 SFO (Daily)

San Francisco – Frankfurt

From 6 October United will replace the 747 that currently operates one of the two daily Frankfurt flights with a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The schedule for the 777-300ER flight is as follows:

UA58 SFO 13:45 – 09:55+ 1 day FRA (Daily)
UA59 FRA 13:55 – 16:30 SFO (Daily)

New York Newark – Tokyo Narita

From 28 October United will replace the old 777-200 that currently operates the Newark – Narita route with a 777-300ER aircraft. The schedule is as follows:

UA79 EWR 11:50 – 15:00+ 1 day NRT (Daily)
UA78 NRT 17:55 – 17:45 EWR (Daily)

When searching for these flights you can confirm that the aircraft will offer the new Polaris Business Class cabin by pulling up the seat map….which should look like this:a diagram of a plane
